ARDI has expertise in technical research and performance monitoring and evaluation, including conducting field-based research and data collection, risk assessments, gender analysis, and technical evaluations of new and existing programmatic activities that influence demand for services or household or community behaviors that affect people’s loves across the social, economic, political, and security arenas.
We ensure that our results indicators are sex and age-disaggregated and that research, evaluations, assessments, and M&E plans are tailored and contextualized to the unique context in which we work, with special focus to ensure that our work is gender-aware so that project benefits may equally research women, men, girls, and boys. ARDI staff have experience conducting focus group discussions and key informant interviews to further supplement qualitative and quantitative data and fill in all remaining gaps with knowledge and insight from our Syrian field staff about the local context.

Amplifying Syrian Voices: Minority Leadership and Political Inclusion
ARDI led efforts to amplify the voices of Syrian minority leaders through (1) multimedia campaigns that highlight the needs, challenges, threats, stories, local realities, and developments affecting the lives of Syrian minorities; and (2) increase and strengthen political engagement with minority leaders who can represent the voices and perspectives of their communities across Syria and among the political opposition.
